Karena sudah menjajaki 3/4 dari Novel yang tengah dibaca saat ini (the C. of Monte Cristo). gw baru menyadari kalau novel ini sangatlah.... beda. pertama-tama sih gw agak skeptis. udah kebiasa sama gaya tulisnya Austen yang sangat harmonis halus dan lembut (dan kadang2 terlalu deskriptif sampe pusing bacanya) jadi agak kaget baca sesuatu yang ditulis dengan agak (menurut gw,lho) gamblang dan To-The-Point. Haha.

but it turns up that this novel is very Clever.

seperti yang gw tulis di atas tadi, kalau satu tokoh antagonis mau balas dendam, biasanya kalo di film2... entah dia bakal latihan sampe kuat trus membombardir musuhnya (contoh: film2 adaptasi marvel) atau segamblang itu langsung maju pasang badan ngelawan musuhnya. tapi kalo tokoh di Monte Cristo ini, rela banget nunggu berbelas2 tahun untuk balas dendam yang sama sekali ga dia lakuin dengan tangannya sendiri. Kaya Hannibal Lector, Monte Cristo clever enough to cause a commotion in internal situation of his enemies, for them to kill themselves with their barehands. cerdas. :)

Evanescence

Kalo ngeliat video ini yang gw pikirkan adalah: Amy Lee banyak berbaring di permukaan yang berbeda, di papan, di genteng, atap mobil... i always want to try that :S. tapi yang pastinya tiduran di atas genteng in the heat of Jakarta....

....

Arashi Fanguys and Monte Cristo...

Kadang2 membuat gw iri sekaligus amaze bahwa gw dengan fenotip XX tidak mempunyai kelenturan seperti ini xDDD....

ini T-Max ntah boyband baru korea.. atau wannabe boyband baru korea... atau segelintir cowo yang cukup "berani" mempublish dirinya seperti ini heheheheh

tapi oke-lho dancenya... mirip Arashi yang asli (yang notabene boyband juga O__o)
tapi lebih oke MatsuJun, Ya ga, ti? haha

btw coba lirik2 tab kiri... hehehe

akhirnya sekian lama salah satu wish-list gw dicoret...
walaupun wish list yang pertama kayanya masih aga jauh^^
anyway, ngomongin tentang monte cristo... gara2 keracunan jane austen akhir2 ini waktu itu sempet cari2 novel klasik buat dibaca...
dari dulu emang udah suka historical romance sih, itu juga karena diracunin Della pake The King's Shadow-nya Judith Polley. kalo ga salah setahun yang lalu coba baca Pride and Prejudice malah keterusan sampe novelnya-nya austen semua.

kemaren pas jalan2 sama Girls of Good Times :) *LOL* mampir ke periplus dan beli Monte cristo. sempet bingung juga, solanya pada saat yang sama ada juga Nothanger Abbey Jane Austen, sama There's No Place like this-nya Cecilia Ahern (karena sempet mikir capek juga otak mikir buat baca novel klasik, pengen baca novel ringan). akhirnya gw memutuskan untuk beli Monte Cristo :) karena lagi aga males memutar otak baca tulisannya Austen pasca stase Neuro dengan jaras-jarasnya dan diagnosis topis yang cantik itu *LOL*.


*sambil ngelirik Love in the time of Cholera yang tergeletak tak terbaca*

oh well.



sebelum stase forensik kayanya gw harus memanfaatkan weekend yang singkat ini, termasuk diantaranya nyelesain revisi skripsi, baca Monte Cristo, Main FFXII, Nonton DVD sama Hunting Gundam. what a busy week. LOL

btw, I miss my Dad... :|
