i DO try to be a good citizen....

it started in one fine rainy early morning on my first day in Pulmonology.
the very teaching hospital located about one hour from my house.
so in regular 20 minutes driving (yeah i usually take shortcut) it took about 30 minutes to get into campus, which luckily the very teaching hospital located about 15 minutes from campus.
my calculation said i'll be there in 6.45 or 6.50. not late, nor too early.

so it was raining. a heavy one.
a little traffic on the way, a bit heavy traffic in pemuda street.
i took the right way, which i mean the right way. not the second lane, not the silly bus lane.
i took the appropriate lane that leads to right turn in crossover.
i waited patiently for about 30 minutes in that stupid lane waiting for my turn to have right turn.

when it IS my turn, a stupid police officer knock on my glass tell me to go straight and have the U-turn in the next crossover, he even let those stupid cars from inappropriate bus lane to take the suppose-to-be-my-turn. THOSE who don't even follow the stupid traffic rules.

fist i won't follow what he asked.
i said politely i wanted to take the right turn, and i am SO FREAKING late.
he banged on my windshield, and yelled at me to take the U-turn.

...so that's what government officers doing.
i DO try to be a good citizen, but i guess those officers prefers the "outlaws"...
Welcome to Jakarta.
